It is white in color, with extraordinary hardness and sharp edges; it has strong corrosion resistance; its chemical stability, high bulk density and low porosity endow it with extraordinary volume stability and thermal shock resistance. It can be produced in a variety of sizes, from large particles to micronized powders, making it ideal for a wide variety of abrasive and refractory applications.
